It is common for customers to actually draw or write on the image that is to be used as the art. These scribbles need to be completely eradicated. In cases like this, I find that I get better results from copying and pasting portions of the original image to make repairs, rather that trying to paint over it with a matching color. By doing so, the texture of the image is preserved.
